When you receive your attunement, a 21-day cleansing and detoxification cycle starts in your body to remove the toxins and unwanted materials.
After the Reiki initiation you may experience symptoms of detoxification such as headaches, nausea, fever, muscle pain, mood swings, diarrhea, running nose, hot flashes, dizziness, and regular yawning. There is no need to be alarmed, your body is simply flushing out the toxins and preparing you for the healing.
This process is usually most heightened during the Reiki course and for the following three days. You may not be aware of this depending on how fit and health you are. The more toxic you are the more you will be aware of the cleansing process. Reiki is like a rebirth.
I’ve been having healing treatments for over 5 years. This experience has been by far one of the most effective! If you don’t come, you’re missing out. Read what Elaine from Palo Alto said about our Reiki healing session
The healing energy works on all levels of the body and mind. This process can be quite emotional and exhausting at times as the Reiki energy goes to work on the emotional and physical blocks that your body has collected throughout your lifetime.
Reiki energy will do whatever is needed to release all the toxins to lead a happy fulfilling life. If you find yourself getting emotional and wanting to cry, scream or shout, let it happen. As the old saying goes, “better out than in”.
During the 21-day Reiki Detox you should not drink alcohol, because it dissipates energy. Energy needs a well-hydrated body for efficient flow, so drink enough natural mineral water, fruit juices or green tea.
